Living and working in Barcelona since 1999. His childhood was marked by car trips with her family to visit his grandparents, who lived in a small village in the south of Ukraine. Those endless journeys, full of potholes, loneliness, emptiness and hostility, are what shaped what he calls his “Russian soul”. He began to focus on photography in 2010. Because of the photographs he took during these trips, he understood how important this road was to him. From that moment on, road trips have become the leitmotiv of his work, and after ten years of obsession with the road, he began to feel that the camera was limiting him, and so he began to use the photographic process without a camera. His interests have to do with meditation, contemplation, silence and stillness. Concepts through which he can experience reality without limits in a full way. All his works are carefully elaborated and handmade. His work is extremely meticulous and requires a long creation process where chance plays the right role in each of his unique pieces.
