Toledano and Madrileño in equal parts, based in Barcelona. His current work focuses on places of the everyday where the inner time stops or passes calmly. Like an analgesic, he situates the work in a place of aesthetic comfort, a place to go to as a necessity in the current times of tumult and turmoil. His references are figures such as Matisse, David Hockney, Guy Yanai, Jon Koko, and above all, the work of American precisionists such as Charles Sheeler and Ralston Crawford.
